Erdogan, UAE Counterpart Talk About Bordering Relations

(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone on Sunday with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, focusing on expanding cooperation and deepening relations between the two nations, according to Türkiye’s Communications Directorate.

The leaders reviewed opportunities for collaboration and measures to reinforce bilateral ties in ways that serve their shared interests and benefit citizens on both sides. They highlighted progress made in various sectors, particularly in development partnerships, and reaffirmed their determination to continue enhancing UAE–Türkiye relations.

The conversation also touched on regional and international issues of mutual concern, including recent developments in the region. Erdogan and Al Nahyan noted that a meeting initially scheduled for this week has been postponed and agreed to reschedule it at the earliest possible date.
